Guitars International is honored to offer to its customers the beautiful handcrafted classical and flamenco guitars of German Vazquez Rubio (also sometimes referred to as G.V. Rubio, German V. Rubio, German Rubio and German Vazquez).
Internationally esteemed luthier German Vazquez Rubio first began making this Antonio de Torres inspired instrument some years ago after attending a workshop conducted by the great English luthier and Torres scholar, Jose Luis Romanillos. While not possessing quite the flexability and complexity of sound as his premiere Hauser model guitars, Vazquez Rubio's Torres model is an impressive, very punchy concert worthy guitar with warm clear round trebles, rich deep basses and even balance. Moreover, with their smaller body size and quick response, these lovely instruments are great fun to play - an outstanding value in a concert classical guitar.
Materials: Br. sides and back, European spr. soundboard, snakewood bindings, stylized Torres headstock crest, traditional green/black/brown feathered mosaic rosette, immaculate hand rubbed French polish of shellac finish, crisp clean workmanship, comfortable neck contour and string set up, 650mm string length, Galli Genius Strings.
